About the event
The workshops have been designed specifically for nurses in Hong Kong. To ensure that the material is 100% relevant to the hospital context, the workshops are based on examples of actual handovers video recorded at HK hospital. We express our thanks to the nurses who participated in the videos. Our aim is to enhance the communication skills nurses need to give safe, efficient and effective shift-to-shift handovers. We will give you strategies to help you do the two things you have to do in a handover:
• give relevant clinical information to your colleagues in a systematic and logical way
• engage and participate actively with your colleagues throughout the handover
